Pure Rendered Duck Fat from our USDA All-Natural Moulard Duck. There are absolutely no additives or preservatives. This product is antibiotic free and gluten free. Our Duck Fat is rendered under USDA inspection and has a Water Activity Level below 0.85, meaning that there is not enough moisture to support the growth of bacteria, yeasts, and mold. According to FDA standards, it is safe to ship duck fat without refrigeration. However, refrigeration or freezing is highly recommended after you receive your Duck Fat.
Mix duck fat with blanched pounded garlic. This is known as gascony butter and is used to flavor soups cassoulet and can be spread on croutons.
