Located in Central Iowa, Midland Co. is a land-based seafood company dedicated to raising sustainable, ethical, and delicious seafood. Using innovative Algae-Based™ RAS (recirculating aquaculture systems) technology, Midland Co. strives to be stewards of the environment. Our shrimp are responsibly raised and are free of hormones, antibiotics, and chemicals. We are dedicated to quality; our products go from tank-to-table within 24 hours.

Our Product

Our shrimp are head-on with shells, but trust us, it is worth getting a little bit outside of your comfort zone for the maximum flavor that comes with cooking them whole. We sell by the pound. There are about 20 shrimp per pound at around 20 grams each. Because our shrimp is fresh, it has a short 3-day shelf life.
