About Harvest Grove Farms

Harvest Grove Farms is a 5th generation farm in Plainview, Minnesota. We have been raising elk for 27 years - striving for happy and healthy elk that produce quality meat. Our animals are raised on pasture and hay we grow ourselves.  We use minimal supplements and antibiotics only when needed. We never use hormones or corn with our elk. We currently have approximately 50 elk in our herd.  The number varies depending on the time of year.

I recently had the opportunity to try Harvest Grove Farms' farm-raised elk steaks, and was genuinely impressed! As a first-time consumer of elk meat, I found the steaks to be rich, flavorful, and just as satisfying as beef. The meat was lean yet tender, with a distinct taste that sets it apart from more common red meats.

Knowing that Harvest Grove Farms raises their elk locally added to the appeal. For those curious about game meats or looking for leaner protein sources, Harvest Grove Farms' elk is an excellent choice. It's an experience I'd be happy to repeat.
