Oxtail Delivered to Your Door

A flavorful, tender cut perfect for slow cooking and hearty dishes.
Oxtail is a unique, rich cut that becomes meltingly tender when slow-cooked. Known for its deep, savory flavor, oxtail is perfect for braising, stews, soups, and even curries. The bones and marrow add richness and depth, making oxtail a favorite for those looking to create nourishing, comforting meals.

Fun Facts:

  • Oxtail is rich in collagen, which breaks down during slow cooking to create a luxurious, gelatinous texture in broths and soups.

  • A staple in many international cuisines, from Jamaican oxtail stew to Italian oxtail ragu.

  • The bone-in nature of oxtail makes it ideal for adding richness and depth to dishes.

Nutritional Benefits:

  • High in collagen and gelatin, which support joint health, skin elasticity, and gut health.

  • Rich in essential minerals like iron, zinc, and calcium, which are vital for overall health.

  • Provides a natural source of protein and amino acids, ideal for nourishing meals.

Cooking Tips:

  • Best when slow-cooked or braised for hours to extract maximum flavor and tenderness.

  • Add vegetables, herbs, and spices to enhance the broth's flavor.

  • For a deeper flavor, brown the oxtail before cooking to develop a rich, caramelized taste.

Cooking Temperature:

  • Slow cook or braise at low temperatures (250–300°F) for several hours until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.

  • For a richer broth, cook oxtail in a pressure cooker for faster results.
