We are Jim and Sherrie Bristol and Rick and Elaine Palm. We have a strong family history of farming in America, and now we are two generations continuing that heritage together in northeast Michigan. Our family appreciates caring for the land and animals, and we would like future generations to have the same opportunity.
Quality, nutritious protein products are an important food choice we offer our community. It’s a pleasure to raise food for our own family and a bonus to raise food for others’ families. Some of our favorite lamb dishes include kabobs, bratwurst, burgers and sliders, cherry-glazed loin and more.
The health of our animals is our top priority. Our farm was the third in the country to achieve an American Wool Assurance program certification, which is a voluntary program that focuses on year-round animal care. Our farm is also involved in the voluntary Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program to prioritize minimizing

Lamb stew meat is typically cut from tougher areas like the shoulder, leg, or neck. These well-exercised muscles are rich in connective tissue, which breaks down during slow cooking to create fork-tender, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of lamb.
Full Flavor – Rich, meaty taste ideal for slow-cooked recipes.
Perfect for Batch Cooking – Ideal for prepping big-batch meals like stews and soups.
Budget-Friendly – A cost-effective way to enjoy lamb.
Versatile – Use it in international dishes like tagine, curry, or Irish stew.
Lamb stew meat needs low, slow heat to become tender.
Sear the cubes on all sides to build flavor.
Simmer or braise in a broth or sauce with aromatics for 2–3 hours.
Add vegetables in the last 30–45 minutes of cooking to keep them from getting mushy.
Cook to an internal temperature of at least 160°F.
For best texture, slow cook until fork-tender (190–200°F internally).
Great for meal prep — lamb stew tastes even better the next day.
Stew meat can also be used in pot pies, chili, or meat pies.
Cut into smaller pieces for use in kebabs or skewers after marinating.
