Old Station Craft Meats began as an idea for two brothers to connect their shared passion for cooking and eating meat with their occupational interests.
One brother, a cattleman, and the other, a businessman, decided to combine their passions and skillsets into a specialty meat market, located in Waukee, Iowa.
Regardless the topic, the best place to start a conversation is around a table for a meal.

I made lightly fried French Cut Pork Chops with Garlic Butter on top. They were so good. I don’t want to try any other cut of pork now. For a side dish we had sweet potatoes and salad.

LOVE LOCAL! We try to get to OSCM often. Our selections last week were a chuck roast that made phenomenal French Dip sandwiches and the breakfast sausage that I used for Scotch Eggs! Customer service is wonderful.
P.S. I love the packaging used in freezer items! It allows for a quick thaw!

the selection of meats they have is fantastic. We got meatloaf wrapped in bacon and it was amazing. We will for sure be back !

Stopped in for the first time just looking for a few things for the weekend. Left with a dry aged wagyu, picanha(which I couldn’t be more exited to find a local place making this cut) and sage sausage. The wagyu was incredible and really made for a great New Years dinner. The picanha is in the fridge seasoned for tomorrow and the sausage is ready for biscuits and gravy. Thank you again for the amazing customer service. I will be making this a weekly stop.

We picked up the prime cut ribeyes on Friday, and grilled them up tonight. Absolutely amazing, without a doubt worth the money, best ribeyes we've ever had!

just bought pork chops for the first time. They are so much better than store bought. Juicy and tender on the grill. We buy all our beef there. Highly reccomend.

Great shop with lots of great options. Recently had a dry aged ribeye that was fantastic. Also bought some bacon wrapped meatloaf that was over the top. Highly recommend Old Station Craft Meats!

The staff at Old Station Craft Meats are very helpful. They know their products well and are willing to help you and explain the cuts of meat and how best to prepare. They have a great selection of not only meats but rubs, sauces, wines and craft beers! Make a stop there you won’t regret it.

First and foremost, the staff is fabulous and knowledgeable. Second of all, the crafted items that are offered can be hard to find. I bought beef tallow to season my cast irons as well as cook with along with Berkshire chops.

Stopped in this morning for the first time. Beautiful place, very welcoming and helpful staff. They had samples of their in-house made summer sausage and it was awesome. Great selection of meats. Talked to one of the guys behind the meat counter and found out they get Lamb once a month - that’s a huge plus +++. This is a very much needed butcher shop in Des Moines / Waukee.

they have a great selection few high quality meats and are very friendly. I have been trying to find a place like this since moving from south dakota. I will never buy steak from anywhere besides they hands down the best around.

Stopped in the store for my first time this week. Great selection of products. I had a great conversation with Nick. I mentioned I like to do a lot of smoking with my smoker and he recommended I try this Chuck Flap piece of meat and report back to him. It turned out great. Basically like cooking a brisket, but in half the time. Roughly 6.5 hours from start to finish at 225 degrees. Everyone loved it! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks.

Bought some Picanha, Berkshire Pork, Breakfast Sausage and Bacon today. What a gem to have in the area. Fantastic cuts of beef and pork - great service - reasonable pricing. What else could one ask??? AWESOME !!! EDIT: Picanha was phenomenal. Served with roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Fresh Mozzarella Tomato Salad. Smoked at 180 for 45 minutes and seared on screaming hot Cast Iron to IT of 125 or so.
