Halves are approximately 20-43# per boxed weight.
Lamb is nutrient rich source of B12, Niacin, Iron, and Zinc. We raise our lambs locally on pasture and hay with minerals offered for healthy animals. Lambs are brought to locker camp when they are around 130-200 pounds of live weight. Note: You can request a lighter weight lamb but understand a lighter weight will produce a smaller cut of meat. Example of packaged difference of individual cuts based on weight of animal. 2 Loins per package weight from a 200# lamb ranges between 0.75-0.83# weight of 115# lamb ranges between 0.45 to 0.56# Processor: We process at USDA certified facility. Our current processor is Western Heritage Meat Company of Sheridan WY. Individual cuts are vacuum-sealed packaged and flash frozen for nutrient retention. Pricing: Cost is $ 18.00 /pound of Boxed Weight. This includes the price of the lamb, trucking, and processing with pick up at our farm or at the processors facility. Select a custom cut sheet for your dinning preference. Final packaged weight will depend upon the cuts selected. Additional customization or specialty products available for an additional cost. Custom Order: One month prior to scheduled processing date, we will contact you for your preference for the live weight of the available animals, select cuts for your meat, and determine pick up location (processing facility or our Ranch). Normal processing timeframe is 25-45 days from the butcher date depending upon your final selections. All processing dates are dependant on the availablity of the processor. Payment: $250.00 deposit will reserve a slot for March 2025 processing. Your deposit will be applied against your final bill. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a later order. Estimated Weight: Boxed Weight is approximately 25-40% Live weight. 40-85 # boxed weight for a full animal 20-43# for half an animal. Half an animal will cost approximately $360-775.00. These are only estimates and the processor's scale will determing the actual boxed weight. Cost for order: Once the final boxed weight is received and any customizations on your order are finalized, you are responsible for the balance of your payment prior to picking up your order. Your actual boxed weight will be determined by your selection of cuts. |
