Yearling Lambs are sent to locker camp when they are around 130-200 pounds of live weight. Note: You can request a lighter weight lamb but understand a lighter weight will produce a smaller cut of meat. Example of packaged difference of individual cuts based on weight of animal. 2 Loins per package weight from a 200# lamb ranges between 0.75-0.83# weight of 115# lamb ranges between 0.45 to 0.56#
Processor: We utilize USDA certified facility. Our current processor is Western Heritage Meat Company of Sheridan WY. Individual cuts are vacuum-sealed packaged and flash frozen for nutrient retention.
Pricing: Cost is $ 18.00 /pound of Boxed Weight. This includes the price of the lamb, trucking, and processing with pick up at our farm or at the processors facility. Select a custom cut sheet for your dinning preference. Final packaged weight will depend upon the cuts selected. Additional customization or specialty products available for an additional cost.
Custom Order: One month prior to scheduled processing date, we will contact you for your preference for the live weight of the available animals, select cuts for your meat, and determine pick up location (processing facility or our Ranch). Normal processing timeframe is 25-45 days from the butcher date depending upon your final selections. All processing dates are dependant on the availablity of the processor.
Payment: $250.00 deposit will reserve a slot for March 2025 processing. Your deposit will be applied against your final bill. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a later order.
