Leg of Lamb

The Leg of Lamb is the most versatile cuts of lamb from roasting whole to trimming into kabob meat or individual chops or smaller roasts, to butterflying and grilling. Leg is the leanest lamb cut. Our halved legs are perfect for a weeknight dinner.  approx. 2 lbs, and comfortably feed 3-4 adults

Coarse Salt

Fresh rosemary

Directions:

Allow leg to rest on the counter for 30 minutes- 1 hour

Finely chop rosemary and combine with coarse sea salt in a small bowl.

Coat the entire leg in mixture. Tip: to create a delcious crust on the outside of your meat, cover until you can't see the meat.

Preheat oven to 450°

Brown leg on all sIdes in oven, about 15 minutes total.

Reduce oven to 325° and continue to roast until INTERNAL temperature reaches 130°.

Remove from oven and rest for 15 minutes. Slice thinly and enjoy!
