About Rocky Ridge Livestock LLC

Rocky Ridge Livestock is a 5th generation family-farm in Western Maine, dedicated to caring for the land, livestock and our community. 

Our farm sits on a beautiful mountainside where we raise cattle, pigs and chickens. For many years, our family took pride in raising organic dairy products, but today, we specialize in raising grass-based beef. Our cattle rotationally graze and are fed grass harvested from our farm all year long. We have always taken great care to manage our land with organic practices.

Our beef is finished with limited amounts of grain and continuous free choice grass silage for the final 4 to 5 months of thier life. They receive less than 25% of their diet as grain, but we are able to achieve excellent marbling that provides our customers with an excellent eating experience every time. Our beef is also dry aged for 2 weeks, making for a premium product!

In addition to beef, we also raise and sell pigs and chicken.

I've been purchasing all our beef for the past 2 yrs from Rocky Ridge. Quality is exceptional. They are very helpful with special orders. Being able to stop by on a whim to grab what you need from the store is so helpful. Won't buy from anywhere else.

We have purchased bulk and from the retail store (for those nights when you just have to have a rib-eye) and the meat quality and taste never disappoints! Exciting to have these products AND PEOPLE as part of the local community

The best place to get your beef. Friendly people, easy buying and pick up process and very affordable. Smoked a few briskets and had to do very minimal trimming compared to any other brisket I’ve bought elsewhere.

We have been purchasing from Rocky Ridge Livestock for over two years. We love the selection of meat that they offer, the great communication, and most of all the product. Kristi is wonderful to work with and I love going to the farm and seeing it be a family affair. They have grown since we started with them but they haven't lost the thing that keeps us going back - the amazing product and family feel.

I highly recommend getting your beef here. The meat is tender and flavorful. The buying, picking up process is easy peasy and not hard on the wallet.

Delicious beef! Their shaved steak is AMAZING and the ground beef makes some great burgers. Can't go wrong with any of their products

Best beef you'll find anywhere in the area!! So tender you don't need a knife! Prices are good too and very friendly people!
