We started this farm in 2020, during the pandemic, when grocery store shelves were empty and all we could find was “sad” food—wilted herbs, bruised produce, and questionable meats loaded with seasoning or processing that didn’t sit right with Tawney’s system. That’s when we decided to take control and raise our own meat the way it should be done.
