One Son's Farm

Continuing the Legacy in Knoxville, Iowa

All-Natural Beef from our Simmental and Angus Cattle

Ships nationwide on Mondays and Wednesdays or pick-up on the farm!

Giles and Mary Wadle started farming shortly after they married in 1956.  They raised cows, pigs, corn, beans, two daughters and one son on 500 acres in rural Knoxville, Iowa.

The family worked hard to preserve the land that Giles and Mary spent their 59 years together nurturing.  The eldest daughter’s family of two daughters and one son planted their roots in Pleasantville but spent most days down on the farm learning and growing what was started by Giles and Mary.

The one son returned to the area after raising his one son and daughter in Northern Iowa.  While working away from the farm, one son started traveling the nation selling animal nutrition products, meeting and learning from large ranch managers, veterinarians, animal nutrition specialists, and every old soul in between.

After Giles and Mary moved from the farm, the next generation’s one son moved to the acreage to continue the farming tradition.  After Giles death in 2016, the two One Sons joined forces to fulfill a dream of owning a cattle operation.  Starting with 10 heifers and 1 bull, “One Son’s Farm” was started on 160 acres of the family land.

Today, One Sons Farm has grown to 100 head of Simmental Angus cows, with Spring and Fall calving.  Using an all-natural feeding program (no antibiotics or added hormones) the farm produces great-tasting, high-quality beef for your family’s table.

One Son's Reviews

We always look forward to restocking our freezer with your meat. We can select the cuts we want! It’s perfect for a family of 2.

I placed an order for ground beef, stew meat, brats, and steak with One Son's Farm a couple months ago. We're slowly dwindling through our stash, and I truly cannot wait to buy more! Delivery was fast and communication was excellent. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to support their local farmer.

I absolutely love the ground beef subscription. I am carnivore, so I eat 2 pounds of this ground beef every night for dinner as well as 4 eggs. Buying this subscription not only got me great tasting ground beef to eat every night but it also saved me about 50% of my prior ground beef cost.

This is not the same sirloin you get at the store! The flavor and quality of this beef is unmatched. If you are considering ordering, just do it, I promise you will not regret it and it will be your first of many orders I’m sure!!

This is hands down the best beef we have ever had! I eat a mostly carnivore diet and naturally I eat a lot of beef. One Son’s Farm’s ribeyes are so good I have ordered them 3 times in the last 6 weeks! This time I ordered three 2 packs to stock up! My boyfriend loves them, too, and he’s a fan of their dried beef as well. It has great flavor and is a favorite snack. The NY strip is also amazing. Everything we’ve tried we would order again!

This is the best tasting meat we have ever had! Our favorite is the ribeye, but we have tried just about everything and it’s all amazing!!!

The BEST tasting meat and so easy to order! Delivery is always quick and right to our home! Amazing family owned business!
